There are 2 types of Khatauni available on the land records portal of Uttar Pradesh, which are as follows:
- Real Time Khatauni: Real Time Khatauni is an online service that helps farmers and land owners of the state to get information related to their land easily. Under this service, information such as land owner, Khasra number, area, land use, and any lawsuit or loan on the land is updated online.
- Copy of Khatauni (Right Record): This is an official document that contains all the information related to the ownership, rights, and use of a land. This document also provides information about the name of the land owner, Khasra number, area of the land, and if there is any loan or lawsuit on the land.

- First of all you visit the official portal – https://upbhulekh.gov.in/ .
- Now click on the option ‘View copy of real time Khatauni’ available on the homepage.
- After this you enter the captcha, and then on the new page you select your district, tehsil, and village.
Now a new page will open in front of you, where you can check your land records with the help of following details.
- Search by Khasra/Gata Number
- Search by Account Number
- Search by Account Holder Name
- Search by land category
- Search by Transfer Date
Now enter the information related to your land record and click on the search option. After that select the record and click on the option to view the extract . After this, the real time Khatauni will be displayed on your screen.

- First of all visit UP Bhulekh Online Portal – https://upbhulekh.gov.in/ .
- Now click on the option View copy of Khatauni (Record of Rights) present on the homepage.
- Now submit the captcha that appears on the screen.
- After this a new page will open in front of you, where you select your district, tehsil and village.
Here are four options to search for the Khatoni (land record copy). You can select any one of the following to find the Khatoni:
- Search by Khasra/Gata Number
- Search by Account Number
- Search by Landholder’s Name
- Search by Mutation Date
Click on the “Search” option after entering one of the above details. Then, select your record and click on the “View Citation” option.
Services related to plots/Gates
Citizens of the state can access various services related to plots/gates on the Bhulekh Uttar Pradesh online portal, which include:
- Check the sale status of the plot/gate
- Know the unique code of the plot/gate
- Check the disputed status of the plot/gate

Bhu Naksha Uttar Pradesh
Citizens of Uttar Pradesh can view their land map through the portal upbhunaksha.gov.in. To view and print the land map, follow the steps below:
- On the homepage, select your District, Tehsil, and Village.
- The map of the selected location will appear on the screen.
- Here, you can click on any plot number to get details about that plot.
Now, you can click on the Plot Report option to download it in PDF format.

To view the Real Time Khatauni Copy (RoR), you have to visit the Bhulekh portal of Uttar Pradesh – https://upbhulekh.gov.in/ and follow the following steps:
- Click on the option View Real Time Khatauni Copy on the homepage .
- Now proceed by entering captcha, and on the new page select your district, tehsil and village.
Now a new page will open where you will see 4 options:
- Search by Khasra/Gata Number
- Search by Account Number
- Search by Account Holder Name
- Search by Transfer Date
Enter the details by selecting the option as per the information available with you and then click on the View Quote button. After this, enter the captcha and click on the Submit button.
Now the extract of Khatauni (uncertified copy) will be presented before you, if you want, you can print it and keep it safe.
Know the disputed status of the plot
Before investing in land or property in UP, you also need to check if the property is involved in any legal or financial dispute or not, for this you need to know the dispute status of the plot for which the procedure is as follows:
- Visit the Uttar Pradesh Bhulekh official portal .
- Click on ‘Know the dispute status of the plot/lot’ available on the homepage.
- On clicking that option, a new page will open in front of you, where you will have to select the district, tehsil and village of UP.
- After selecting your district, tehsil and village, you will be redirected to a new page asking you to provide the Khasra/Gata number. Enter the Khasra/Gata number and click on the ‘Gata Status’ option.
